Bacolod, Negros Occidental to launch first-ever Bacolod Travel Expo

Tourism in Negros Occidental is set to enter a new era as the first-ever Pasyar Negros 2025: Bacolod Travel Expo debuts on December 11–12 at Ayala Malls Capitol Central.

The groundbreaking event aims to solidify Negros Occidental as an emerging tourism and M.I.C.E. hub in Western Visayas while strengthening partnerships across the travel and hospitality sectors.

Pasyar Negros 2025 is proudly co-presented by the City of Bacolod, the Bacolod City Tourism Office, the Province of Negros Occidental, and the Negros Occidental Tourism Division (NOTD) — a united initiative showcasing the island’s commitment to innovation, collaboration, and local pride.

Organizing this milestone event is Astra Events Co., a student-led Event Management Company under the Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management (BSTM) Program of La Consolacion College Bacolod. As part of the Tourism Program’s experiential and industry-based learning, Astra Events Co. leads the planning, execution, and management of this two-day expo, positioning tourism students at the forefront of real-world event operations.

A Two-Day Celebration of Tourism and Culture The expo promises a full lineup of activities, including:

*HAYAG: The Opening Ceremony

*A ceremonial ribbon cutting marking the launch of the province’s first travel expo.

*Tourism Exhibit & Booth Showcase featuring travel agencies, hotels, resorts, transport operators, tourism suppliers, and Negrense entrepreneurs offering discounted tour packages and products.

*Panel Discussions and Talks where trourism experts and industry leaders will tackle key topics such as inclusive tourism, Halal travel, sustainable tourism partnerships, and business tourism development.

*District Cultural Performances that will cultural showcases from the six districts of Negros Occidental, celebrating the island’s diversity and cultural identity.

*Cultural Fashion Runway: Panapton sang Kultura – a display of Negrense craftsmanship through local weaving, heritage wear, and modern fashion pieces inspired by provincial culture.

*UGYON NEGRENSÉ: Honoring Excellence

A major highlight of the expo is the UGYON Negrense Awarding Ceremony, which will recognize exceptional exhibitors through the Most Innovative Exhibitor, People’s Choice and Most Engaging Booth awards,
