More than 30,000 people joined a free Asenso Bacolod sponsored Sunset Fest ‘22 at the Central District Football Field in Bacolod City Saturday evening, March 20.
The music fest attended by a crowd composed mostly of young people was for free, Ryan Saez of Headrush Productions, said in a statement Sunday.
Saez said he initially planned to sell the tickets for the event that would costs P1.5 million to produce but Bacolod mayoral candidate Alfredo “Albee” Benitez offered to buy the entire event.
“He signified his intent to buy the entire event and proposed that I still handle it and he would just pay me for my services as organizer,” Saez said.
Saez said he agreed to hand over the event to Team Asenso and to instead just be paid a fixed professional fee for organizing it.*
