The 62nd Infantry Battalion of the Philippine Army showcased a static display of their “warfighting capabilities” and attended the ceremonies in two Kanlaon eruption-hit local government units in Negros Island in celebration of the 126th Philippine Independence Day, on Wednesday, June 12.
The 62IB troopers celebrated Independence Day with a series of activities that included participation in the simultaneous flag raising ceremonies, a dynamic static display, and attendance at LGU celebrations.
The 62IB static display included squad movements, the strategic use of troops in combat operations, and a presentation of the unit’s wide range of weaponry.*
