
Armed men gunned down a 14-year-old boy at Abada Escay, Brgy Vista Alegre, Bacolod City, at 10:35 p.m. Thursday, June 23.
The victim’s name was withheld by the police.
Police Capt. Elmer Bonilla, Police Station 7 chief, said when the armed men onboard a van arrived the victim ran and they chased and shot him.
It is not known yet if he was a mistaken identity victim, Bonilla said.
The victim’s father and uncle were previously jailed for drug offenses, Bonilla said.
The arrival of the seven armed men in the area was captured by a CCTV camera.*
