Angels’ Wings Foundation launches farm workers’ sickness benefit program

The Angels’ Wings Foundation launched a Sickness Benefit Program for farm workers in Talisay City, Negros Occidental, at the Barangay Zone 12-A Barangay Hall at, Carmela Valley Homes Subdivision, on Sunday, Feb. 2.

Angels’ Wings Foundation President Rowena “Weng” Lopez Lizares said the program will benefit farm administrators, staff, and workers in Talisay City.

If they are hospitalized they will be given P2,500 equal to five days of work, she said.

In 48 hours after they submit the requirements the assistance can be released, she said.

If it works we will expand it to other sectors, she said.

The launching was attended by farm managers and workers from Talisay City.

Meanwhile, her husband Mayor Neil Lizares said a second super health center will be built in Barangay Matab-ang, Talisay, on property donated by the Lizares family.*
