It is all in the family for the winning mayors and vice mayors of 10 towns and cities in Negros Occidental.

In Cadiz City Mayor Salvador Escalante and his nephew Vincent Escalante who ran as vice mayor won unopposed.

It’s a son and father tandem in EB Magalona with Matthew Malacon winning as mayor and his father Mayor Marvin Malacon as vice mayor.

In Pulupandan Miguel Peña was reelected mayor and his cousin Anthony Gerard Suatengco won as vice mayor.

Vice Mayor Mary Grace Arceo won as mayor of Hinigaran and her husband Mayor Nadie Arceo as vice mayor.

In La Castellana Councilor Añejo Nicor won as mayor and his sister Mayor Rhummyla Mangilimutan as vice mayor.

It is a husband and wife team in Moises Padilla with Ella Garcia Yulo reelected mayor and Felix Mathias Segundo Yulo III winning as vice mayor

Siblings won in Cauayan with Mayor John Rey Tabujara reelected and his sister Anna Liza Tabujara Soriano winning as vice mayor.

In Ilog it’s a father and son tandem with Mayor John Paul Alvarez reelected and John Paulo Alvarez winning as vice mayor.

It’s a husband and wife tandem in Kabankalan City with Mayor Benjie Miranda reelected and his wife, Divina Gracia Miranda, winning as vice mayor.

Siblings also won in Sipalay City with Mayor Gina Montilla Lizares and Vice Mayor Oscar Montilla reelected.

In the 5th District of Negros Occidental Rep. Emilio “Dino” Yulo III was reelected and his son Miguel Yulo won as mayor of Isabela.

Cousins won in the 2nd District with Rep. Alfredo Marañon III reelected and Leo Rafael Cueva winning as mayor of Sagay City unopposed.*
