Barangay Alijis emerged as the champion of SingKara: The Voice of Bacolod as Janzy Gallasa topped the citywide singing competition with her rendition of “She’s Gone,” earning the grand champion title and a cash prize of ₱15,000 at the Bacolod Public Plaza Friday evening, Oct. 16.
Gallasa competed against 14 other finalists who advanced to the grand finale following two elimination rounds, with the Top 15 contestants battling for a place in the Top 5 and the opportunity to claim the championship title, a press release from Gugma Foundation said.

Rutha Rojo, Gugma organizer, said close to 30 teenagers qualified for the elimination rounds from hundreds of aspiring singers who auditioned during the qualifying process.
The competition provided young performers with a platform to showcase their talent and represent their respective barangays in the citywide singing showdown.
Rojo said Gallasa is expected to be featured in various programs during the remaining days of the MassKara Festival 2026 highlights, giving the grand champion further opportunities to perform and share her talent with festivalgoers.
Representing their respective barangays, the finalists showcased their vocal abilities through performances that highlighted the musical talent of Bacolod’s communities.
