ACNN formed in response to projected power shortage

This proactive formation follows recent warnings regarding a projected supply deficit issued by the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) and the Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC), a press release from ACNN said.

ACNN, in its press release, said its primary mission to address the ongoing inefficiencies in the services of the Northern Negros Electric Cooperative (NONECO), as well as the inadequate power supply, through direct consumer consultations and consistent dialog with management.
The alliance also expressed openness to a proposed partnership between Negros Power and NONECO, which aims to rehabilitate and upgrade NONECO’s existing infrastructure to enhance overall performance and service delivery.
During its assembly Saturday morning in Bacolod City, the following officers were elected for the 2026-2027 term: Pastor Efraim Tapang as president, Pastor Juralden Enerez – vice president, Jean Lopez – secretary, Pastor Israel Bais – treasurer, and Pastor Joel Trinidad – press relations officer.

The Board of Directors members are Pastor Paquito Montilla, Pastor Rejoy Palara, Jonel Despares, and Niel Tingson, with Dr. Melvin Mangana, Pastor Jupiter Arela, and Wennie Sancho serving as coordinators.*
