An 8-year-old girl drowned in a pool at Mag-aso Falls Leisure Camp in Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental, on Tuesday morning, April 7.
Police said the victim, a resident of Ilog town, was with her family during an outing at the waterfalls.
The father said he was going down the stairs when a concerned citizen carrying his daughter approached him shouting that she had drowned.
The father attempted to revive the child before rushing her to a hospital where she was declared dead.*
