Seven illegal structures were demolished along GM Cordova Avenue (Buri Road) in Brgy. Mandalagan, Bacolod City,  Wednesday morning, July 29.

The demolition was conducted by the City Legal Office Enforcement Team, together with the Bacolod Traffic and Transport Management Department.

“These structures were blocking the sidewalk and were removed for pedestrians to use without obstruction,” the city government reported on its Facebook page.

“This is a frequently used pathway next to a mall, which is why intensive clearing operations are being implemented,” it said.

Meanwhile, the CLO, together with members of the Business Permits and Licensing Office, reopened a well-known sports restobar along BS Aquino Drive in Bacolod after its management complied with the required city permits and licenses.*
