All 57 individuals who underwent random drug testing at the Talisay City Jail in Brgy. Matab-ang, Negros Occidental, yielded negative results on Saturday, August 29.
The joint operation, led by PDEA–Negros Island Region in coordination with BJMP, covered both the male and female dormitories.
Those tested included seven male and three female jail personnel, along with 32 male and five female Persons Deprived of Liberty .
Authorities said no illegal drugs were recovered during the operation.
The result, they added, highlights the intensified campaign of BJMP for drug-free jail facilities.*
