A 41-year-old laborer died after he was stabbed during a drinking session in Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental, on Tuesday night, April 7.
Police said the victim was drinking with a companion at a store in Sitio Tapol, Barangay Salong, when a heated argument broke out.
Police investigation showed that the victim was stabbed by an unidentified suspect who later fled the scene onboard a motorcycle.
The victim was rushed to a hospital but was declared dead by the attending physician.*
