The total sales of the exhibitors at the 38th Negros Trade Fair held at Glorietta 2 in Makati City that ended Sunday was P59.4 million, NTF chairperson Michael Edward Claparols said on Monday, Sept. 23.
This is a 20 percent increase from the P47.7 million in sales during the 37th NTF in 2023, he told DIGICAST NEGROS.
The food sector had the biggest sales at P31 million, he said.
The gift sector earned P16 million, organic sector – P1.4 million, fashion – P 4.4 million, furniture – P2.4 million and tourism – P4.5 million.
Claparols attributed the success of the trade fair to the exciting products of the exhibitors and the supportive customers.
Also responsible for the NTF success were the hardworking Negros Trade Fair organizing committee, the Association of Negros Producers board of directors, officers and staff, the provincial government of Negros Occidental and the local government units, he said.
The support of Ayala, Glorietta and Airspeed was also critical to the NTF’s success, Claparols added.*
