
The bodies of three females believed to have died during Typhoon “Tino” were recovered in Moises Padilla, Negros Occidental, on Wednesday, Nov. 12, Mayor Ella Garcia Yulo said.
One of the fatalities was identified as Felipa de la Cruz.
The mayor said 19 bodies have been recovered in Moises Padilla since “Tino”, three of whom were residents of Canlaon City and four were from La Castellana.
Meanwhile, the body of a boy was found in Sibunag, Guimaras.
The child, believed to be between 3 and 7 years old, was bald and wearing a camouflage shirt.
Nine bodies were found in Hinigaran, Negros Occidental, since “Tino” hit, the police also said.
The Office of Civil Defense on Tuesday reported 64 persons dead and 68 missing in Negros Occidental.*
