3 injured in stabbing incident in Isabela

Three men were injured in a stabbing incident in Isabela, Negros Occidental, on Wednesday night, May 6.

Police identified the suspects as aliases “Christian,” “Bert,” and “Torla” of Brgy. Libas, Isabela.

The police said the suspects allegedly went to the victims’ residence in Brgy. Libas at around 9:50 p.m. armed with bladed weapons.

Authorities said a heated argument erupted and later escalated into violence.

One of the victims sustained a stab wound in the stomach and was referred to the Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital in Bacolod City.

Another victim suffered a stab wound on the left arm and remains confined at the Ignacio Lacson Arroyo Sr. Memorial District Hospital.

The third victim sustained an injury on the forehead after allegedly being hit by a stone and was also confined at the same hospital.

Police said the suspects fled after the incident.*
