
Three persons tagged in the death of a Grade 10 student during hazing rites were arrested in Barangay Guintorilan, San Enrique, Negros Occidental, on December 28.
Nabbed were Johnrey Ermosillas, 19, a student; Niel John Villarde, 25, a bet collector; and Rexie Daylosan, 30, of Barangay Guintorilan.
Armed with an arrest warrant for violation of the Anti-Hazing Law, policemen swooped down on their houses and apprehended the suspects.
The suspects were linked to the death of an 18-year-old Grade 10 student in September 2021. The victim succumbed to injuries six days after the initiation rites.
The suspects are now detained at the San Enrique police station.*
