3 Capitol employees promoted, now EEDD division heads: Diaz

Negros Occidental Gov. Eugenio Jose Lacson has promoted three provincial government employees to division heads of the Economic Enterprise Development Department (EEDD).

The new heads are Beverly De Oca for the Negros Residences, Omega Ciocon for the Food Terminal Market of Negros Occidental, and Kristine Ann Exito for the Negros First CyberCentre, Provincial Administrator Rayfrando Diaz said on Friday, Feb. 6.

Diaz, who is also the EEDD officer-in-charge, said the governor promoted them because he recognized their invaluable contributions to the growth and improvement of the EEDD, which reached unprecedented income performances for the provincial government for calendar years 2024 and 2025.

Diaz said additional attractions are also being readied at the provincial government’s Mambukal Resort & Wildlife Sanctuary in Murcia.

Aside from the trails to the waterfalls and the enclosure for endemic endangered species, a coffee shop will also open at the resort, he said.

The Governor’s Lodge, which has rooms to accommodate up to 100 persons, will also be opened for seminars and large gatherings, Diaz said.*
