A 2-year-old girl died after she was found along the seashore near her home in Purok 1, Brgy. 1, Hinoba-an, Negros Occidental, April 22.
The incident happened on April 22 but was reported to the police on Friday, April 24.
Hinoba-an police investigators said the child was inside her house at around 7 a.m. while her mother was outside drying fish.
Moments later, the mother noticed the child was missing and sought help from neighbors.
At around 9 a.m. the child was found lying along the seashore in front of their residence.
She was immediately rushed to the Hinoba-an District Hospital but was declared dead.*
