Two Negrenses were injured after they were shot by unidentified suspects in Hinoba-an and Himamaylan City, Negros Occidental, on Sunday, Sept. 22.
A 33-year-old man, whose name was withheld, was shot by an unidentified suspect at the public market in Brgy. Asia, Hinoba-an, the police said.
The victim was about to ride his motorcycle when the suspect appeared from behind and shot him three times.
Meanwhile, a 42-year-old woman was also shot by an unidentified person in Sitio Catoltolan, Brgy. San Antonio, Himamaylan City.
The victim, whose name was also withheld, was about to sleep, when she heard an unidentified suspect calling her.
The victim stood up and approached the suspect. She was shot thrice hitting her eye and shoulder, the police said.
The suspects in both incidents escaped.*
