“Medalya ng Kagalingan” awards were given to two police officers for arresting a high-value target last year, during the Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office flag-raising ceremony at the Camp Alfredo M. Montelibano Sr. in Brgy. Estefania, Bacolod City, on Monday, Dec. 4.
Himamaylan City Police Chief, LtCol. Reynante Jomocan, and Senior Sergeant Hernane Garsolo received the medals of honor for their intelligence-driven buy-bust operation in Brgy. Aguisan on Aug. 4, 2022, which led to the arrest of a high-value target.
NOCPPO also awarded the Silay City and E.B. Magalona police stations as top performers in the province in October.
Meanwhile, NOCCPO also reported that last week, from Nov. 28 to Dec. 4, they seized suspected shabu worth P158,440 in seven buy-bust operations in the province and arrested seven individuals.*
