A total of 144 racers from various cities and municipalities across Negros Occidental and Panay Island joined the 11th Kalamayan Festival Duathlon Challenge in Victorias City on Saturday December 14.
Marking the second day of the 2024 Kalamayan Festival activities, the event tested participants’ endurance with a 5km run, a 20km bike ride, and another 3km run, a press release from Victorias City said.

All winners received finisher’s medals, trophies, and cash prizes ranging from P1,000 to P7,000, depending on their categories and placements.
Real-time results were provided by RaceYa, one of the official race partners, through advanced sports technology solutions that ensured timely and accurate updates.
Victorias City Strengthening and Conditioning (VCSC), also an official race partner, offered free physical therapy sessions to all participants after the race.
