A total of 142 Negrosanons underwent free life changing surgeries at the Valladolid District Hospital in Valladolid, Negros Occidental, Dec. 9 to 13.
Negros Electric and Power Corp. (Negros Power) partnered with the World Surgical Mission Foundation Philippines for the conduct of the surgical mission.
A team of 52 medical professionals from across the country participated in the mission by offering free surgeries for those in need.
“It’s heartwarming to see so many people come together to help those in need,” said Kristelle Pascual, Executive Director of the World Surgical Foundation Philippines.
“We are deeply grateful to Negros Power for their unwavering support. They have truly embraced our mission to bring healing and hope to communities across the Philippines,” she said.
“The smiles on the faces of the patients as they left the hospital, their bodies lighter and their spirits brighter, were a testament to the mission’s success.
