14 Negros Occidental groups back Team Lacson-Sotto 2022

Fourteen multi-sectoral groups from Binalbagan, Isabela and Himamaylan have manifested their support to Senator Ping Lacson and Senate President Tito Sotto for president and vice president in 2022, at rites in Binalbagan, Negros Occidental, recently.

Romeo Castillo Jr., co-coordinator of the Negros for Ping Lacson 2022 and Team Lacson – Sotto 2022, in a press release Sunday, August 8, said the manifesto of the 14 groups states that Lacson is a leader with integrity, fear of God, and has the capacity to end corruption and poverty.

He said 10 multi-sectoral associations under the FEMSAB Multi-sectoral Association, three chapters of the Alpha Kappa Rho Fraternity and Sorority (AKRHO), and BIGALS (Binalbagan Gays and Lesbians Society) signed a manifesto of support to Lacson and Sotto, expressing their solid endorsement for their bids for president and vice president in 2022.

Earlier, the BIGALS with some AKRHO members, participated in an HIV Screening, one of their organization’s activities in partnership with a group of volunteer nurses, Castillo said.

T-shirts were also turned-over to AKRHO Fraternity and Sorority members who regularly conduct feeding programs in partnership with another NGO, in identified high poverty-stricken communities. AKRHO members printed Team Lacson – Sotto 2022 on their t-shirts to show their support, Castillo said.*
