Thirteen San Carlos City government job order workers tested positive for illegal drugs in a series of tests conducted by the local government in November, Mayor Renato Gustilo said on Tuesday, Nov. 26.
They were among 707 San Carlos City government employees from various department tested, he said.
The continuing drug tests are being conducted to ensure a drug-free local government, he said.
The tests were conducted by the San Carlos City Anti-Drug Abuse Council.
Confirmatory tests on those found positive would be conducted, the mayor added.*
