The 10th city-level most wanted person was arrested in a manhunt operation conducted by the Bacolod City Police Office on Thursday afternoon, Feb. 26.
The police identified the suspect as alias “Christian,” 22, single, unemployed, and a resident of Brgy. 2, Bacolod City.
He was arrested at about 5:10 p.m. along the South Capitol Road in Brgy. 9.
Authorities said the suspect is also listed as the second station-level most wanted person.
The joint operation was conducted by operatives of the City Intelligence Unit, Police Station 2, and other BCPO intelligence personnel under Manhunt Charlie Operation.
Police said the suspect was arrested by virtue of a warrant for violation of Section 5, Article II of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
The warrant of arrest was issued by the Regional Trial Court of Bacolod City on Feb. 24.
The suspect is currently detained at Police Station 2.*
