A man died in a motorcycle accident at Sitio Belez, Brgy. Buenavista, Himamaylan City, Negros Occidental, Thursday night, March 6.
The victim was Jonard Cabarlo, 58, of Sitio Tuyuman, Brgy. Caradio-an, Himamaylan, the police reported.
The victim came from the house of his parent-in-law in Brgy Buenavista when he suddenly lost control over his motorcycle.
The motorcycle fell in a rocky part of the road. The victim sustained injuries and was declared dead at a hospital.
The incident was self-inflicted, the police said.*
