May 24 ka mga farmers, cooperatives, associations, kag local government units (LGUs) sa Negros Occidental ang nag baton sang P178.57 million nga balor sang farm machinery gikan sa Department of Agriculture – Philippine Center for Postharvest Development and Mechanization base sa impormasyon sang TheCityBridge.
Sa idalom sang Rice Competitiveness Enhancement Fund Mechanization Program sang DA, ang mga beneficiaries nagbaton sang 17 ka unit sang four-wheel drive nga mga traktora nga naga balor saang P39.95 million kag 15 ka unit sang rice combine harvesters nga nagabalor sang P30 million.
Ang iban nga mga farm equipment naga lakip sang apat ka unit sang village-type rice mills, duha ka unit sang precision seeders kag isa ka drying system.
Ang turnover ang ginpatigayon sa Bago City Community Center nga gin tambungan ni Mayor Mayette Javellana kag Negros Occidental Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson.
