The Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office installed a new chief of police in Toboso during a turnover ceremony at the town’s new government center on Monday, Sept. 16.
PCapt. Armel Lasap, the new Toboso cop chief, replaces PMaj. Jun Rhay Batadlan.
The turnover ceremony was led by NOCPPO Director Col. Rainerio De Chavez with Toboso Mayor Madonnah Jaojoco, Vice Mayor Ma. Luisa De La Cruz, and other Sangguniang Bayan members.
Jaojoco, in her speech, challenged the new police chief to continue the momentum started by Batadlan in combating crimes.*
