A teenager was found dead near a river at Sitio Capanoyan, Brgy Minapasuk, Calatrava, Negros Occidental, Thursday, December 9.
Nonie Boy Pales, 19, of Sitio Mainit, Brgy. San-Isidro, Toboso, was already lifeless when he was discovered by a resident.
The victim sustained gunshot wounds to his forehead and neck, the police said.
He was brought to the Calatrava Municipal Health Office for post-mortem examination.
Residents said they heard two gunshots around 4 to 5 a.m. on Thursday.
The police are still investigating the motive for the killing.*
