A Bacolod City resident yielded P34 million worth of suspected drugs during a bust at a seaport terminal in Old Poblacion, Escalante City, Negros Occidental, 12:40 a.m. Friday, March 4.
Nabbed was Vicente Sepuesca of Barangay Sum-ag Bacolod. He was said to be a high-value target.
The five kilos of suspected shabu were hidden in tea packs.
The suspect, who was onboard an Isuzu MU-X, had just arrived from Cebu when he was intercepted by Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency operatives, along with other police units and the Philippine Coast Guard, a PDEA report said.
The suspect is now in the custody of the Escalante City police and will face charges for the sale and possession of illegal drugs.*
