A motorcycle rider died after his vehicle hit a concrete barrier along Burgos Extension, Brgy. Villamonte, Bacolod City, late Wednesday night, Jan. 21.
The victim was identified as Richard Eno of Purok Sambag, Brgy. Estefania, Bacolod City.
Police said the motorcycle was traveling from west to east at around 10:45 p.m. when the driver lost control and crashed into the concrete barrier in front of a John Deere establishment.
The rider sustained severe injuries from the impact and was immediately brought to Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital, but was later declared dead by the attending physician.*
