Negros Occidental and Bacolod City received more vaccines on Friday, October 22, to boost the intensified campaigns against COVID-19.
The Moderna vaccines arrived at the Bacolod-Silay Airport via Philippine Airlines.
Bacolod City received 7,400 doses and Negros Occidental got 66,000 doses from the Department of Health.
Meanwhile, the COVID -19 active cases in Negros Occidental have slightly dropped below the 4,000 mark.
The province had 3,948 active COVID-19 cases and 15 new deaths, the Provincial Incident Management Team reported on Friday.
Negros Occidental’s COVID-19 death toll is now at 1,132.
The Department of Health reported 123 new COVID-19 cases in Negros Occidental and 46 in Bacolod City on Friday.
Bacolod City has 1,697 active COVID-19 cases, the DOH added.*
