A woman was arrested after she allegedly placed suspected shabu in a pandesal (bread) that she brought to her boyfriend at the Kabankalan City Police Station custodial facility on Saturday, June 22.
Danica Garado, 20, a resident of Sitio Homesite, Brgy. Camansi, Kabankalan City, was arrested after the police found the shabu.
Garado claimed that she was asked by her boyfriend, who is currently detained at the facility, to bring illegal drugs that is why she placed it inside the bread, the police said.
Garado’s boyfriend is detained at the custodial facility for charges linked to illegal drugs.
Garado underwent drug testing and will face charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Act, the police said.*
