GCash strengthens commitment to employee excellence, leadership development

In celebration of its sixth anniversary, the country’s number one fintech app GCash, strengthened its commitment towards employee excellence and leadership development through its G Nation – For The Nation program. The leading fintech company highlights the importance of a passionate employee working together with like-minded and like-hearted individuals to change the world for the better. With a supportive and collaborative workplace culture, the program aims to provide current and potential GCash employees increased opportunities and skills to advance their careers in the company.

“We believe that nurturing talent, along with a company’s healthy working environment, should be highly promoted, especially as we recover from these uncertain times. Aside from our mission of financial inclusivity, we are pushing for a positive and progressive workplace” said Martha Sazon, President and Chief Executive Officer of GCash. Sazon adds that the workplace has a significant impact on the development of leadership abilities. As a part of the G Nation, GCash employees also expressed their desire to contribute to excellence and nation building.

G for Changing the Game

From fund transfers to bills payment, GCash has helped millions of Filipinos during the pandemic, with over 48 million users and around 10 million transactions daily. GCash offers bank accounts and credit lines, insurance protections, a tree-planting tool, cash loans, investment marketplaces, and a mini app for merchants and brands, making it one super lifestyle app.

“The same way that GCash has now become a household name and top-of-mind finance platform for our consumers, we aspire to become a top employer of choice to all the talents out there,” said Jaime Augusto Zobel de Ayala, chairman of the board for Globe, who shared the message during the launch. Beyond technology and numbers, GCash has purpose and financial inclusion at its core.
