CENECO sets 6-hour power interruption in portions of Bacolod on Oct. 27

Residents in some portions of Bacolod City will experience a six-hour outage on Wednesday, October 27, for maintenance work.

The Central Negros Electric Cooperative Inc. (CENECO), on its Facebook page, said this is to ensure the stability of distribution lines to avoid further serious damages that will result in major interruptions.

Affected by the brownout from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. are portions of Burgos Feeder 3, Prk. Proper Alangilan, Prk. 14 and the Home for the Aged in Brgy. Alangilan.

CENECO advised its consumers that in any power interruption, electrical switch/es should be turned off for safety reasons.

When electricity supply resumes, residents should provide an allowance of about 10-15 minutes before switching on all electrical appliances and facilities to avoid a power surge.*
