Barangay hall emptied, filing of complaint eyed

The newly elected Punong Barangay of Barangay 20 in Bacolod City may file a complaint against the outgoing officials for leaving the barangay hall nearly empty.

Barangay 20 Punong Barangay Mark Abancio said the barangay hall was emptied.

Found in the barangay hall was a rice cooker with spoiled food in it, a CCTV and monitoring system, dusty and unserviceable equipment and one of four government vehicles.

Marissa Ciocon, an incumbent barangay kagawad, also wondered why the chairs and curtains at the session hall of the barangay were gone.

Medicine that were not expired were also found scattered, and the Philippine flag was used to cover a window .

Outgoing Punong Barangay Edward Yee could not be reached for comment as of press time.*
