50 Negros cops graduate from investigators course

Fifty cops from various police stations in Negros Occidental graduated from a criminal investigation course at Camp Alfredo M. Montelibano Sr. in Brgy. Estefania, Bacolod City, on Thursday, Oct . 24.

After months of training, these new investigators are equipped with advanced investigative skills to solve crimes efficiently, a press release from the Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office said.

The course, which emphasized crime scene management, legal compliance, and case preparation, is a testament to the Philippine National Police’s commitment to continuous professional development, it added.

During the ceremony, PCpl Judy-Ann J. Calma, assigned at the Provincial Womens and Children Protection Desk, was awarded the “Medalya ng Kasanayan” for being the top student of the class.

PCpl Maria Krystal Cielo P. Cabatuan of the San Carlos Police Station, was conferred the “Medalya ng Papuri” for being second in the class.

Ranking third in the class was PCpl Yi Jon Ignacio from the Hinoba-an Police Station who was also awarded the Medalya ng Papuri.

The graduation was attended by Rep. Emilio Yulo III (Neg. Occ., 5th District) and Negros police officials.*
