Two men were arrested after they were allegedly caught stealing electrical wires inside a resort in Brgy. Taculing, Bacolod City, Sunday afternoon, Oct. 11.
The Bacolod City Police Office identified the suspects only as aliases “Bogoy,” 36, of Barangay Taculing, and “Jan-Jan,” 37, of Brgy. Mansilingan.
Police said the incident happened at around 1:30 p.m. at Forest Park Water Garden Resort in St. Francis Village.
Initial investigation showed that a resort representative allegedly caught the two men in the act of taking electrical wires from the property and reported the incident to authorities.

Police recovered the allegedly stolen electrical wires and a gun replica from the suspects.
Authorities said they are also verifying whether the recovered replica may result in any additional case under Republic Act 10591, or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act.
