Rep. Emilio “Dino” Yulo III (Neg. Occ., 5th District) who ran as an independent candidate in 2022 has joined the Lakas-CMD.
Yulo took his oath as Lakas CMD member before House Majority Floor Leader and Lakas-CMD Executive Vice President Manuel “Mannix” Dalipe on Thursday October 3.
He will be seeking a second term as representative of the 5th Congressional District as the official candidate of Lakas CMD, he said.
He thanked House Speaker Martin Romualdez, Lakas-CMD president, for his invaluable support and confidence in his journey.
Negros Occidental Board Member Anthony Dennis Occeño of the Partido Federal ng Pilipinas is expected to run against Yulo for the 5th Congressional seat of Negros Occidental.*
