Rep. Emilio Yulo III (Neg. Occ., 5th District) said he hopes President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. addresses the urgent need for flood mitigation measures in his State of the Nation Address (SONA) on Monday, July 28.
The president is set to deliver his fourth SONA at the Batasang Pambansa in Quezon City at 4 p.m Monday.
Yulo said he hopes the need to dredge major river systems to address flooding is discussed.
He also hopes the president outlines his roadmap for the next three years and announces his decision on when the barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan elections should be held, Yulo said.*
