The police arrested the ninth most wanted person in Negros Oriental for attempted murder in Bayawan City on Tuesday, Jan. 21.
The Negros Oriental Police Provincial Office said the suspect was arrested at around 12:03 p.m. in Brgy. Ubos by personnel of the Bayawan City Police Station.
The arrest was carried out by virtue of a warrant for attempted murder under Article 248 of the Revised Penal Code, issued by the Regional Trial Court Branch 63 in Bayawan City on Jan. 19.
The arrested suspect is currently under the custody of the Bayawan City Police Station for proper documentation and legal disposition.*
