RMN’s senior reporter Prime Tejida won the Negros Press Club presidency unopposed on Saturday, Jan. 18.
Tejida, who garnered 113 votes, is also the executive producer of RMN’s Straight to the Point Program, a commentary program on a primetime slot.
Other winners are Lourd John Diaz (Aksyon Radyo) – vice president, Maureen Andrea Soliguen (FMR) – secretary , Nona Magbanua (Aksyon Radyo) – treasurer and Merlinda Pedrosa – (Sunstar) – auditor.
Diaz won over former NPC president Erwin “Ambo” Delilan , and Magbanua defeated Nanette Guadalquiver of the Philippine News Agency.
Soliguen and Pedrosa were unopposed.
The winning members of the Board of Directors are Mae Singuay (Panay News), Eden Aboso (Aksyon Radyo), Chito Berjit (ANB) and Red Salgado (K5 News FM)
Tejida will take over the NPC presidency from Mark Gabriel Salanga when the new set of officers assume their posts on March 1.*
