A man sustained multiple hack wounds after his 17-year-old brother allegedly hacked him in Sitio Bais, Brgy. Yubo, La Carlota City, Negros Occidental, at about 9 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 28.
The teenager hacked his brother identified as alias “Benjie”, 30, on his forehead, neck, and left wrist, the police reported Friday.
The victim chased their father with a bolo prompting the suspect to hack him, witnesses said.
The suspect immediately fled to the house of the barangay captain to surrender.
The victim was brought to the Don Salvador Benedicto Memorial District Hospital in La Carlota and later referred to a hospital in Bacolod City for further medical treatment.
The suspect was brought to the La Carlota City Police Station and was received by the Women and Children Protection Desk investigator.*
