The police arrested a 29-year-old man and seized an estimated P272,000 worth of suspected shabu during a search warrant operation in Brgy. Oringao, Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental, early Wednesday morning, November 12.
The Kabankalan City Police said the operation was carried out at around 6:15 a.m. in Purok Campilisan by virtue of a search warrant issued by the Regional Trial Court Branch 61 judge.
Authorities identified the suspect as alias “Iyong,” a resident of the area.
During the search the police recovered about 40 grams of suspected shabu.
The confiscated drug items were turned over to the Negros Occidental Provincial Forensic Unit for laboratory examination.*
