Scholarships up for grabs for Bacolod residents

Residents of Bacolod City are urged to avail of the free scholarship program from the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority, which was facilitated by the office of Rep. Greg Gasataya.

Interested applicants must be 21 years old and above to qualify, either high school level or graduate, and college level or graduate. Requirements include a valid Identification card and barangay indigency certificate.

Those who qualified for the program can avail of the free tuition, daily allowance, and P500 load allowance.

Available courses for qualified applicants include:

> Shielded metal arc welding NC I
> Shielded metal arc welding NC II
> Gas tungsten arc welding NC II
> Electrical installation and maintenance NC II
> Tailoring NC II
> Bread and pastry production NC II
> Cookery NC II

The deadline for applications will be on October 21.
