Three persons were arrested for illegal gambling at Ylagan Extension, Brgy. 6, San Carlos City, Negros Occidental, on Thursday, April 21.
Nabbed were carpenter Armando Marabe Palabrica, 52, Ronaldo Mananquil Dohinog, 67, and businessman Roldan Purisima Alqueza Sr., a San Carlos City police report said.
They were caught engaged in an illegal card game locally known as “tong-its” and are now in the custodial facility of the San Carlos City Police Station, the report added.
Seized from them were playing cards and P1,386 in bet money, it said.*
