Rep. Marañon, 4 BM bets unopposed, sure winners

Rep. Alfredo Marañon III and four board members candidates only need one vote to win the 2025 polls.

That is because they are running unopposed, Commission on Elections records showed last night.

Marañon is running for reelection as congressman of the 2nd District of Negros Occidental.

 Also unopposed are  Board Member candidates Marxlen de la Cruz and  Araceli Somosa of the 1^st District,  and  Sixto “Pal” Guanzon  and Arthur Christopher Marañon of the 2^nd District.*
