The police served a warrant of arrest against the Negros Island Region’s fourth most wanted person in Escalante City, Negros Occidental, on Thursday, Dec. 18.
The Police Regional Office–Negros Island Region said the warrant was served at the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology facility along the circumferential road in Barangay Hacienda Fe, Escalante City.
The suspect was identified as a 28-year-old man and a resident of Barangay Washington, Escalante City.
Authorities said the warrant was issued for the crime of rape with homicide under Article 266-B of the Revised Penal Code.
Personnel of the Escalante City Police Station served the warrant, police said.
