A Cauayan resident was arrested and a firearm and suspected shabu worth P238,000 were seized in a buy-bust operation in Purok Hang-ing, Brgy. Orong, Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental, on Saturday, March 23.
Arrested was alias “Negro”, 45, of Purok 1, Brgy. Tiling in Cauayan town, the police said.
The police conducted an entrapment operation leading to the suspect’s arrest.
The police recovered from him 35 grams of suspected shabu, a .38 caliber revolver without serial number and live ammunition, the buy-bust money, and other non-drug evidence.
The suspect is now under the custody of the Kabankalan City Police Station.*
