The Bago City Component Police Station is conducting an advocacy campaign against illegal drugs to maintain the “drug free” status of Bago City.
The Bago Police Station gathered 24 barangay captains and secretaries all over the city to conduct a Capacity Development and Advocacy Campaign for Anti-Illegal Drugs and Drug Clearing Operations by Barangay Anti-Drug Abuse Council (BADAC) at the Bago City College on Thursday, February 22.
Lt.Col. Jay Malong, Bago police chief, said the seminar discussed programs to maintain Bago as a drug-free city.
The event was organized by Bago Police Station together with the Regional Police Community Affairs Development Unit 6, and Department of Interior and Local Government- Bago.
The seminar was also attended by the Barangay Kagawads handling the peace and order committee, and other stakeholders who are new members of BADAC.*
